User management

The application administrator opens 用户管理 (User management), under 更多 (More) on mobile. There are 20 users per page. 搜索用户 matches local usernames and NAS display names; clear search if an expected account is missing.

Administrator and member roles

  • System initialization creates the sole application administrator. Daily creation makes members only, without role selection/promotion.
  • The administrator and current user have no delete option. Administrator editing cannot disable or change roles; you cannot disable yourself.
  • The administrator can edit their username. Personal password changes use 我的账号 → 修改密码, not the user-edit form.
  • NAS administrator status does not elevate the local role. Historical administrator-source issues require maintainer review; do not delete accounts to reach a desired count.

Create a member

  1. Click 创建用户 (Create user), then enter 用户名 (Username) and 初始密码 (Initial password).
  2. Usernames are limited to 64 bytes; passwords to 10–256 bytes, subject to page and backend validation.
  3. Click 保存用户 (Save user).
  4. Deliver the local username/initial password privately and have the person change it under My account at first sign-in.

Expected result: the account appears with a member role and can sign in again after its password change. No role selector is expected. Existing and deleted usernames are not released for reuse, preserving historical ownership.

Edit a name or disable access

Click 编辑 (Edit) on the user row. Change the username or, for members, 允许登录 (Allow sign-in), then 保存用户. 最近登录 (Last sign-in) appears inside the edit panel. Lists prioritize NAS display names; local names may be on the next line or in details.

Turning Allow sign-in off blocks future sign-in and revokes sessions. Re-enabling does not change the password, create an account or transfer data. Have the user sign in again as prompted after saving.

Reset a password separately

  1. Click 重置密码 (Reset password) beside another ordinary user.
  2. Enter 新初始密码 (New initial password) and confirm 重置密码.
  3. Deliver that local username/password privately. The user must set their own new password after signing in.

This revokes older sessions, including NAS sign-in. NAS-only members gain a password entry through the same procedure; do not create a second account.

Older installed packages may place reset fields inside Edit. Follow visible controls rather than treating an absent field as required in the current interface.

Check the person before deleting

Click 删除 (Delete) on an ordinary user, check the identity and select 确认删除用户 (Confirm user deletion). Password, NAS binding and sessions are removed. The user ID, business data and historical ownership remain; cloud originals and generated directories are not deleted. NAS confirmation cannot recreate the deleted identity.

If that user issued playback grants, disabling, deleting or requiring a password reset affects them. An administrator should review playback authorization under the correct enabled account to restore access. Do not give players user passwords or administrator sessions.
